About Us
A Team with Over a Century of Combined Trading Experience
Established in 1996 by Lawrence Feis, Feis Equities LLC embodies a legacy of expertise in equities, futures and options.
Lawrence started his professional journey at Citibank, ultimately rising to the position of Vice President of Money Market Arbitrage. Relocating to Chicago in 1985, he solidified his presence by becoming a member of both the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade. During the next 11 years, he engaged in floor trading arbitrage of the interest rate futures and options markets. During his time on the trading floor, Lawrence played a pivotal role in training and financing numerous aspiring floor traders who went on to achieve success in their own trading careers.
In 1999, Lawrence left the floor and established Feis Equities (at the time called Feis Trading Corp.), with the intention of creating an elite trading firm that would be both highly adaptive and innovative. In order to accomplish this, he established a collaborative environment designed to develop traders using extensive support and training. Since its inception Feis Equities has been an organization in which traders work together to discover and implement new strategies and models, combining efforts to approach large-scale arbitrage opportunities in equities, futures, and options markets. For over 25 years, we traded electronically from an office in downtown Chicago. In 2023, the firm shifted to remote trading with an office in Glenview.
